Summer is practically here and one of the most unique plans you don’t want to miss out on is checking out one of the biggest lavender festivals in the country!
In case you weren’t familiar with it, Michigan’s 22nd annual Lavender Festival in Imlay City is set to take place in just a few weeks, between June 28th and 30th!
When is the Michigan Lavender Festival?
As mentioned above, the festival will occur between June 28th and June 30th in Imlay City at the Eastern Michigan State Fairgrounds.
This will be the 22nd annual festival and will likely have around 200 unique artists, vendors, food trucks, and more!
How much does it cost?
Considering the lavender festival is a full weekend with access to hundreds of incredible vendors and food trucks, some of which represent the best lavender farms from Michigan and beyond, you’ll be pleased to hear that a full weekend pass is only $15 right now if you purchase it during pre-sale!
Included in the price is access to all vendors, the health expo barn, the outdoor kid zone, DIY workshops, and so much more!
The festival operates under the concept that everyone is a VIP and accessibility to this event should be limited by ticket price.
However, we do suggest that you take some spare cash with you just in case any of the vendors you want to shop at don’t accept card payments, which might happen.
How do you get to the festival?
The lavender festival is taking place at the Eastern Michigan State Fairgrounds in Imlay City located just off I-69 and M-53, which is roughly a one-hour drive from Detroit.
The event space hosts plenty of parking and is largely stroller and wheelchair friendly.
