Night in the Mesozoic Era!
This September, the young and young-at-heart alike will have the opportunity to come face-to-face with life-size and life-like dinosaurs in Canterbury Village. The travelling Dino Stroll interactive event will transform Canterbury Village into a scene from the Mesozoic Era with nearly 75 huge dinosaur animatronics including a T-rex, velociraptors, and a stegosaurus. The event runs from Thursday, September 2 to Saturday, September 4, and takes place in Canterbury Village, about an hour’s drive outside of Detroit.
The animatronics are frighteningly lifelike, with moving body parts and blinking eyes. Breathing movements and a synchronized sound system complete the thrilling illusion and bring the dinosaurs to life!
For an even more dramatic experience, Dinos After Dark on Friday and Saturday allows guests to tour the illuminated dinosaurs in a mysterious nighttime environment with lasers and lights.
Admission is $19.99 per person, with kids younger than 23 months and military personnel both getting in for free. Timed tickets are available Thursday through Saturday from 4pm to 8pm, while Dino After Dark takes place Friday and Saturday from 9:15pm to 10:15pm.
