“We Call It Tango” is an immersive show that embodies the magic of tango. Over the course of three spellbinding acts, two talented tango dancers perform alongside talented musicians as they journey through 13 famous tangos. Just imagine the dynamic footwork and intimate hand movements while the dancers perform the volcada (when the female dancer leans into her male companion), the lustrada (where one foot rubs against the partner’s leg) and more authentic tango moves.

Tango is a musical genre and couple’s dance that was born in Rio de la Plata and developed in Buenos Aires (Argentina) and Montevideo (Uruguay), reaching a golden age in the 40’s. Its typical instrument is the bandoneon and its style is characterized by being seductive, romantic and graceful, although the lyrics do not always speak of love, but also of broken hearts, political issues and more.
